Hello everyone,
I'm sending you a first programme of our first week together in Belgium. It is likely to change but the dates are fixed.
We'll be happy to welcome 42 people (7 per country (5 students + 2 teachers, I think)). If everyone of you does the same for us, that'd mean 42 mobilities...How great !
The week will consist of 6 days : from Monday Novmber 5th till Saturday 10th.
On Monday 05-11 : arrivals : try to arrive not too late....for the hosting families. Our school is 1 hour from the airport without traffic, maybe 2 in traffic jams.
On Tuesday 06-11 : welcoming at school ; headmaster's speech ; presentation of each school and country then guided visit of our school ; maybe taking part in lessons.
By bus, going to the other school site in Lessines for lunch and meeting the vocational students then visit of an old hospital in that town.
On Wednesday 07-11 : workshops at schools with 5th and 6th forms then sports activities. Lunch and afternoons in families.
We'd like to organise a lunch for teachers and a brewery visit and tasting that afternoon...Who is interested ?
On Thursday 08-11 : Brussels : guided visit of Parlamentarium and guided tour in Brussels city centre with our 6th formers.
On Friday 09-11 : morning : visit of Tournai : film and guided tour of the town centre.
Afternoon : preparation of the show/presentation of the week work
around 15.30 : presentation of the week work/show to the hosting students and families
We'd like to orgnaise an informal teachers' dinner that night.
On Saturday 10-11 : departures

I have to wish a good holiday time for the ones only starting but I know that Germany will already start school a few days after Portugal will officially be on holiday.
